Founder of Sangati Healing Arts, Charlotte, NC
Long ago, Sarah fell in love with yoga. She was introduced to yoga and Eastern philosophy as a child by her father, and began developing her practice as a teenager. She began teaching in 2000, earned certification in Anusara yoga in 2003, and taught at Anusara’s first Yoga Journal Conference and Wanderlust. She resigned in 2012. Sarah Faircloth teaches locally at Be Yoga and at her private studio in Charlotte, NC. She owned Sangati Yoga, a creative yoga studio and healing arts center, for eight years. Sarah teaches yoga workshops, teacher trainings, intensives, and retreats.
Sarah is also a mental health counselor. She helps people of all backgrounds heal by teaching them to incorporate mindfulness practices and yogic principles into their lives.
As an active student of Sri Vidya Tantric philosophy and empowering myths, studentship is at the core of Sarah's teaching.
She practices asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, and yantra. Her teaching is infused with yoga wisdom that applies to modern life. Her classes are fun and engaging, flowing and instructive. Through a balance of flow and alignment cues, she hopes to empower each student.
